Welcome to Instructional Services

 

The Office of Instructional Services is responsible for overseeing the District's 4K-12 curriculum, instruction and assessment program. This includes academic standards, state and district assessments, student learning, instructional research and state and federal compliance. The Instructional Services department is composed of Educational Technology, Assessment & Data Analysis/Reporting, Mentoring and Professional Development Services.

 

The mission of the Instructional Services team is to provide support and leadership for staff, collaborative cultures, and a district system dedicated to the continued success of all students, while closing achievement and opportunity gaps. 

 

Goal 1:  Provide district level leadership to build teacher and principal capacity and efficacy that create a climate of inquiry and support a collaborative culture.

 

Goal 2:  Provide district level leadership to articulate a shared vision and systematically implement strategies focused on improved learning outcomes and engagement for all students, with particular focus on targeted groups.
