The American Association of University Women - AAUW A scholarship for $1000 to any high school student on track to pursue a higher education directly after high school. This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate potential to succeed in their studies beyond high school and who demonstrate a need for financial support. Applicant must submit a typed 300-500 essay including: *Educational goals, *How or why receiving this scholarship will support educational opportunity, and *Financial need or special circumstances effecting educational progress. Applicant must submit two (2) signed letters of recommendation - one from a teacher and one of the applicant's choice. Both letter writers must address the applicant's potential to succeed in higher education. Applicant must submit a resume or a listing of education related activities and involvements in the community Applicant must submit a transcript Applicant must include the following information and signature on a cover page Applicant must submit all required materials to West Salem High School Student Services by Friday, February 3, 2023.
