2 - $500 Scholarships Awarded to High School Seniors in La Crosse & Trempealeau County Schools; submit a 500-750 word essay or 3-4 minute video. PROMPT April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. As we work to end violence through awareness and education, please explain how victim-blaming, in the context of sexual assault, affects your community, and what can be done to address victim-blaming and change the way sexual assault is perceived in your community. When writing your essay or creating your video, be mindful of all forms of sexual abuse and violence present in our communities and who it impacts. Essay or video is due Sunday, May 1st by 11:59pm. Essays and videos can be written or recorded and submitted in English, Hmong or Spanish. Please submit scholarship application found at bit.ly/denimdayscholar.
