Marine Credit Union (MCU) takes pride in our long tradition of assisting members with financial needs in the pursuit of higher education. We believe strongly in giving back to our members and the communities we serve. We offer nine (9) - $1,000 scholarships that we award to well-deserving, hardworking students (1) graduating from high school with the class of 2024 or (2) present college students continuing their studies during the academic year 2024-2025. To be eligible for one of these scholarships, the applicant must be an MCU member, or the child of an MCU member, and must plan to enroll for the next academic year as a full-time student as determined by the school, college, or university. MCU pays the scholarship award directly to each recipient’s college or university based on the academic schedule and can be used for tuition, fees, and other educational expenses.
