Happy Holidays from West Salem!

12/23/2015 9:30 am

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Break!

With the holiday season in full swing, West Salem students and staff spread cheer throughout the school and community.

Elementary students participated in a variety of activities, including building ginger bread houses, making cards, and performing plays, such as Rudolph Gets the Flu. Fifth graders gave back to the community by ringing bells for the Salvation Army and caroling. Staff even got in on the fun by holding an Ugly Sweater Contest and photo booth!

The middle school hosted a talent show to recognize students' hard work and achievement throughout the year. The staff showed their goofy side by creating their own video, filled with dancing and lip-syncing. Watch the video here.

High School NHS sponsored a Caring Tree in the library, where students and their families could give a gift to a disadvantaged child in the community. Students throughout the whole district got involved, showing the true spirit of the season.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the many holiday activities, and we wish you all a relaxing break!
