Notice: Board of Education Vacancy - Applications due Friday, October 10th

The School District of West Salem Board of Education seeks qualified and interested candidates to fill a Board Member Vacancy for a term running from the end of October 2025 to mid-April 2026. Candidates from the community should submit notice of their interest by answering four questions below and submitting to Superintendent Ryan Rieber via email  at rieber.ryan@wsalem.k12.wi.us or dropping off at the District Office at 405 East Hamlin St. by Friday, October 10th at 3:30 p.m.

Application Questions
1. What motivates you to become a board member?
2. What do you see as the board's roles and responsibilities?
3. What is the most important responsibility of a school board?
4. What issues do you believe the board needs to address in its academic programs and offerings? What changes would you recommend?
