Notice: Board of Education Vacancy - Submit Applications By Thursday, June 12th

The School District of West Salem Board of Education seeks qualified and interested candidates to fill a Board Member Vacancy for a term running from June 2025 to mid-April 2026. The selected candidate will also be eligible to run for a two-year term that will begin at the end of April 2026. Candidates from the community should submit notice of their interest by answering four questions  below and submitting to Superintendent Ryan Rieber via email  at rieber.ryan@wsalem.k12.wi.us or dropping off at the District Office at 405 East Hamlin St. by Thursday, June 12th at 3:30 p.m.

Application Questions
1. What motivates you to become a board member?
2. What do you see as the board's roles and responsibilities?
3. What is the most important responsibility of a school board?
4. What issues do you believe the board needs to address in its academic programs and offerings? What changes would you recommend?
