Application Guidelines
Scholarships will be awarded to successful candidates who are 2026 graduating high school seniors. Recipients may pursue any course of study. The scholarships will be awarded to students attending any public or private accredited college or university.
1. Complete Application - one-sided no staples
2. One page personal letter addressed to the Board of Directors or Selection Committee stating your goals/career objectives
3. High School Scholastic Record
4. One page resume listing you participation in co-curricular activities, community services and employment
5. Two letters of recommendation, including one from a community member and one from school district staff
6. Answer to the essay question listed on the scholarship application after interviewing the superintendent, business manager or bookkeeper from your school district. Must be one typed page.
7. Recent photograph (original, reprint on photo paper or electronic photo emailed to kristin.hauser@wasbo.com. Photos will not be returned and require printed name on all printed copies.
