NAREN Wisconsin Scholarship Application
**Deadline: April 15th of the current application year**
The scholarship selection committee will provide a scholarship to one student for $500.00.
The following criteria must be met to be eligible:
1. Applicants must be or have been, attending an alternative school or program.
2. The completed application must include the following:
A) A completed applicant information page
B) A letter of reference from an education professional
C) A letter of reference from a community member
D) An official high school transcript
E) Type a complete essay that is at most two pages in length.
The essay must address the following: Describe how completing your post-secondary education will assist in your ability to achieve your goals for the future. Include information detailing your history, school experience, and how the at-risk program has helped you graduate high school.
3. Return completed applications to: naren.wi.conference@gmail.com Announcement of the scholarship recipient will be made by June 1st of the current application year.
The student will receive the scholarship money after a transcript of grades for the first semester from the post-secondary institute has been submitted to a NAREN Wisconsin board member, or mailed to the address above. The scholarship money will be available for not exceeding two calendar years after high school graduation.
