If you attended West Salem Elementary School, you may be eligible for a $1,500 scholarship!
If you worked 1 on 1 or in a small group on your reading skills or math skills while attending West Salem Elementary (or another public or private Title I school), you are eligible for the Wisconsin Title I Scholarship.
APPLICANT MUST:

Be a resident of Wisconsin

Be graduating from an accredited high school

Show a sincere desire and interest in furthering his/her education

Plan to attend an accredited university, college, or two-year technical college

Have been in a Title I Program between early childhood and grade 12
Then submit the completed scholarship form postmarked by midnight, March 1, 2026, to:

Upon further study of the applications, a scholarship committee member may interview individuals who qualify.

The Wisconsin Title I Association will award up to four $1,500 scholarships to high school seniors from Wisconsin. A scholarship committee from the association will choose the student recipients. The recipients will be awarded the scholarship at the Wisconsin Title I Association's spring meeting.
The scholarships are available to students to further their education by pursuing a two-year certificate or four-year degree. Students who apply must have been in a Title I Program sometime during their Early Childhood through Grade 12 school career. The Treasurer of the Wisconsin Title I Association will make scholarship payments directly to the school/college that the recipient will attend.
