My name is Krista Mead and this is my second year teaching technology at West Salem Elementary School. I grew up in eastern Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Elementary Education and a master's in Computer Applications in Education. I have taught in five states (Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, and California) and am excited to continue teaching in the School District of West Salem. My husband and I have 4 children and relocated to Wisconsin in 2017. Haley is a junior at UW-LaCrosse majoring in elementary education; Hannah is a freshman at the University of Northern Iowa majoring in secondary math education, Ryan (junor), and Lindsay (junior) attend Holmen High School. Our children keep us busy with their activities (soccer and basketball). I am looking forward to the upcoming year at West Salem Elementary School!
